Important Information and Tips
- Before lighting for the first time, and prior to each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. Do not let the wick trimmings accumulate in the pool of wax. This will remove any carbon buildup and prolong burn time.
- Each time the candle is lit ensure the wax melts to the edge of the glass (a full melt pool), this will ensure no tunnelling and a more even burn throughout.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- To avoid the glass overheating, do not burn the candle to the bottom; must leave about 0.2 inches of wax.
- You can reuse your glass jar once the candle is finished, just warm up the remaining wax in a pot of hot water and pour it out. The jar can then be cleaned with warm water and soap before you pop your pencils, brushes or a plant in it!
